Hair Brained...

My hair has been uber frizzy for the past 6 weeks or so. I had decided it was because of the massive amounts of humidity in the air...until I heard a report that the humidity level in Illinois is actually at its lowest, due to the drought we are experiencing.

It was then that it occurred to me that I may want to change shampoos...So, instead of my salon only expensive $20.00 a bottle shampoo...I used my husbands cheap, under $3.00 Loreal shampoo...and lo and behold...no more frizzy hair for me! Go figure!

If only the new cheap shampoo would cover the grey without the expensive salon visit, I would have it made! :-)

Actually it sounds like you may just be experiencing some sort of build up. Even with the best shampoos, it is a good idea to switch every few months for about a week with something else (preferably something mild). I think this is in part why our hair feels so much better after we go to the salon.

hair issues

i have the same problem, having naturally curly hair. Ashley's always trying to talk me into more expensive product from the salon, and she uses graham webb product when i'm there. but my hair doesn't LIKE expensive stuff. i've settled on fructese shampoo and brilliant brunette conditioner and the fructese mousse... i do always keep a bottle of Shampure by Aveda though, because once a month or so it's good to strip all the build up off your hair, and it gives it that little change. and once in a while, i use the Sap Moss shampoo from Aveda, it is so great for curly hair and is very conditioning. but like i said, once in a while!!
